CHARLOTTE MATTHEWS grew up in Washington, DC, and graduated from The University of Virginia and The MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Her honors include fellowships from The Chatauqua Institute, The Sewanee Writers Conference, and The Virginia Center for Creative Arts. This is her fourth collection of poetry, following Whistle What Can’t Be Said (Unicorn Press), Still Enough to Be Dreaming, and Green Stars (both Iris Press). Assistant Professor in The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Program at The University of Virginia, she lives in Crozet, Virginia, with her husband, two children, one black lab and a hive of honey bees.
